Sigh…

I found out yesterday that I didn’t get the job at the hospital because it was filled by an internal candidate. Since they had taken so long to contact me I had already kinda figured I didn’t get the job but hearing her tell me still made me feel disappointed. So I’m going to take the mail room job at ACU. It’s not what I want at all but there are some things about it that are better than the job at the hospital would have been like better hours and better pay. It’s hard to complain though, at least Aaron and I both have fulltime jobs with benefits. Our time in Abilene is only temporary though. Hopefully this time next year we’ll be moving somewhere new!
Other than that, Aaron and I are in a wedding this weekend. It will a crazy weekend but it will be fun too! After this weekend we’ll be done with weddings for a while so that will be nice.

Hey there – sorry to hear you didn’t get the job!
Those guys are big nerds.
I’ve got my interview at ACU today…I’m really nervous! Keep your fingers crossed for me – maybe we’ll be “working together” soon…just in different departments and different buildings.
